ISO9001 CERTIFICATION - GLOBAL BENCHMARK STANDARD
Tanabe and all of it's products are manufactured following ISO9001 standards and regulations. The Tanabe Shiga factory was certified by ISO (International Standardization Organization) in 2001 and Tanabe is widely recognized for exemplary quality in manufacturing, technology, craftsmanship and materials.

ISO9001 is a management system which ensures the highest level of manufacturing quality. Using this process, every product undergoes a series of inspections during the manufacturing process to maintain high levels of quality. If at any point a product is not meeting our high quality standards, production can stopped so that the issue can be addressed, and only the highest quality parts are released to the public.
Obtaining ISO9001 certification is extremely difficult, and many aftermarket parts manufacturers are hesitant to adopt this standard. With ISO9001, people who use our products are virtually guaranteed that they have the highest quality product available, and that their money was well spent in a thoroughly engineered, effective quality product.

ISO9001 is becoming increasingly important to have, as the prevalence of outsourcing of manufacturing to inexpensive areas with low quality control increases. Due to the abundance of low quality parts manufactured in areas that have lax quality control, a standard benchmark for quality is necessary.
Without any quality standards, there are many uncertainties left for the consumer to find out for themselves:
-Will it fit?
-Will it break?
-Does it work?
-Is it safe?
Without a standard for quality, the consumer has no protection or assurance for these important needs. On an automotive application, where parts can modify the handling or power of a vehicle, the importance of quality and safety should be the top priority of consumers.
Tanabe is ahead of it's competitors in that it is one of surprisingly very few companies to carry this certification and standard for quality.
